Counselors' Corner

Hi boys and girls,
I hope that you all are doing well during this time that is so very different for everyone. Mrs. Twitchel  and I want you to know that we are here for you if you need to talk to us about your feelings. Some of you might be feeling different emotions each day and that is OK. What's important is that you recognize these feelings.

We are providing an activity  that will help you identify your emotions.  We  encourage you to complete this activity at least once, but  you may decide to do this more than once.

Below you will see a picture of an empty heart with a key to show a range of emotions. This is what you will need to create at home. The next picture shows the activity completed. This shows that in my heart I am feeling Happy that I am in communication with you and it is sunny outside, but I am also feeling sad because I am missing seeing you each day. I am also worried about people who may be feeling sick. Once you complete your heart I would encourage you to share this with someone.

If you are able to make a copy of the page before you begin coloring, you may want to do so to have several copies to share or use your self.  Have fun completing this activity and talk to you soon!

Thanks and know we are thinking about you,
Mrs. Cunningham and Mrs.Twitchel
