At Home Dough from the Clay Lady

You can make your own soft sculpting material at home with the following no-cook salt dough recipe from The Clay Lady:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1/4 tsp oil
1/4 cup water (optional- add food coloring to water to color dough)
A soft pointed tool like a pencil or a wooden skewer
A work mat or copy paper, butcher paper or wooden board
Paint with Clay Paints or any acrylic paints
Mix well by kneading. Air dry to harden. When working with clay, use a toothbrush in a small amount of water. Scratch clay with wet toothbrush to attach two pieces of clay together.
